Qualification:
For Airman Group X (Except Education Instructor Trade): Candidates should have passed Intermediate/10+2 or an equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English OR must have passed Three-year Diploma Course in Engineering in the relevant stream from a Government recognised Polytechnic Institute with 50% marks in aggregate, and 50% marks in English in Diploma or in Intermediate/Matriculation, if English is not a subject in Diploma Course.
For Airman Group Y (Except Automobile Technician, GTI, IAF (P), IAF(S) and Musician) Trades: Candidates should have passed Intermediate/10+2 or an equivalent examination in any stream/subjects approved by Central/State Education Board with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
For Airman Group Y Medical Assistant Trade Only: Candidates should have passed Intermediate/10+2 or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
